Russell and Carol - hayle and hearty

Well, the allotment didn't look very prepossessing...   even in the long view  so we decided to cover a quarter of it in a large pile of manure and ask Simon to come play in it with us....

Then Russell took on the heroic job of attacking it with a rotovator  (after kind instruction from Lech at #12 who also arranged the hire)...

This went well, but slowly  - and then a man with a tractor arrived (organised by #9?) and Jim from #2 used his Blarney Stone skills to get a makeover done...  and the pile was gone! A fabulous way to spend £20!
